    • Today's lunch is Turkey Club Bagel & Fruit Salad.  Please make sure you have funds in your lunch account, there will be no more charging after May 26th.  The District accepts credit cards for online payments.  Check out the webpage!
    • The yearbooks will be here May 29th. We will distribute junior and senior yearbooks right before the picnic, and freshmen and sophomores during 6th period. Beat the rush and purchase one today in the office or online for $45. You can use a credit or debit card when purchasing online. Get one while the supplies last.
    • Last Chance Plant Sale is today from 3:00-6:30.
    • Junior meeting during lunch today in Mrs. Bakers room.  Time will be end of lunch at 11:45.  We will be discussing the Junior and Senior picnic.
    • Last day of the espresso cart for this year is Friday, May 29.
    • FFA officer applications, Greenhand and chapter degree applications are all due Thursday.  FFA officer election BBQ is Monday evening at 6:00pm. All members come out and elect your officer team for next year. See a current officer for more details.
    • Just a reminder:  Class elections are coming up.  The application forms are on-line and in the office and due to Mrs. Rossmaier by May 27.  The meeting, speeches and vote will take place during advisory on June 3.  See Ross if you have questions.
    • Any senior interested in singing the National Anthem at Graduation there is a sign-up sheet in Mr. Henry's room.
    • Gabi Wilkinson is chairing an old eyeglasses drive for the Lion's Recycled Eyeglass Center from May 6 through June 3.  The plan is to have a competition among the three Rainier Schools and the winning school would earn a treat on the last day of school (sponsored by the Lions) June 12.  There will be a collection box in the main office.  Please ask your neighbors and friends if they have old eyeglasses you could take to give in the drive.  The recycled eyeglasses are then used for people who don’t have them.  Come on, let’s see how many pairs of glasses we can get! 
    • For all football players and any other athletes, the weight room will be open on Wednesday and Sunday evenings from 6:30-8pm.  Contact Coach Shaw for more info.

  • Counselor's Corner:
    • New Scholarship Opportunity! Nursing Schools Almanac has just launched its inaugural 2015 Aspiring Nurse Scholarship. An award a $1,000 scholarship will be given to an aspiring nurse who best demonstrates: + A track record of academic excellence, particularly in science and mathematics + A passion for the nursing profession and the overall field of healthcare. This scholarship competition is open to all high school seniors. Scholarship applications will be accepted until midnight on June 30.
