Inclement Weather:

If the decision is made to
either cancel or delay
school for the day, every
attempt will be made to do
so as early as possible to give
families adequate notice.

Once the decision has been
made, schoolreport.org will
be notified. This organization
will instantly relay the
message to all major news
agencies in the area
(30+ including all
TV and radio stations).

Schoolreport.org will also
send notification emails to
any families or community
members who have gone to
their website and registered
their email address under
the Rainier School District's
name. Please check your
local TV stations for
information.

  • In our effort to make sure our Rainier families are aware of the College Bound Program funded by the Washington State Legislature, we have sent forms with Scholarship applications home to all parents/guardians of 7th and 8th grade students who have not already registered. Please review the information and register if you are an eligible recipient.  This is a wonderful opportunity that shouldn’t be passed up!
