  • SAT FAQ

The SAT is offered twice per Year at RHS, and regularly at other schools in the surrounding area including Olympia High School, Timberline High School, Tumwater High School, and Bethel High School. Students can register for any SAT that fits their schedule. Students can register at collegeboard.org

We recommend College Bound students and those students who are undecided to plan to take the SAT once at the end of their Junior Year, and during the late summer or early fall of their Senior Year.

Rainier High School will offer the SAT typically during October and May. Information about dates can be found below.

  • ASVAB

The ASVAB measures strengths and potential for future success. You don't "pass" or "fail". The results represent how well you have developed your skills in addition to your potential for training. It is required for entrance into the military.

Please register through the counseling center.
