WHAT SOUND WILL YOU CREATE?
-
As the school year comes to a close, let's give our creativity one last project! Below is a link to a site with ideas of how to make your own instrument or instruments. Here are some suggestions:
-
Decide what kind of instrument: drum, shaker, something you blow, strings
-
Draw a design
-
Make a list of supplies needed Gather together construction material: tape (duct tape lasts longer), glue, rulers and adult help with scissors and anything sharp
-
Use recyclable materials- ask adults what you can use- plastic, metal, wood, string, rubber bands
Test the sounds each object makes.
What makes the best sound to you?
