CommonLit is a free resource that provides short stories, short nonfiction texts, and poems for K-12 students. No account is needed to read the texts, though all students in this ELA class will eventually create an account for class. You can search for readings by grade level, lexile level, genre, or theme to help you find the perfect text for you!

Epic provides a collection of over 40,000 books, audiobooks, and videos for kids up to 12 years of age. 

All students can access Epic's library from 7 am - 3 PM for free.

While Khan Academy is most known for it's helpful math lessons, it is also a great English language arts resource! Khan Academy offers free lessons and practice in English grammar as well as reading comprehension.

Newsela is a free resource that provides student-friendly articles on current events. Students should use their school email to sign up for an account if they do not have one already.
