Notice of Special Education records no longer needed.
In accordance with the state minimum records retention period, the district is notifying
parents/adult students of the destruction of records from June 2014 through January 2016
(unless you have been previously notified.). These records will be destroyed on April 1, 2022. If
you would like the records, please contact the special services office at 360 446-7406. Students
over 18 must request their own records.
The district is also notifying parents/adult students that special education records from January
2016 through January 2022 will be destroyed six years after your child/adult student either left
the district or was exited from special education. Please contact the special services office if you
have any questions or would like the records.
