Uke

You Can Uke, Too!

  • Hello!

If you are interested in learning how to play a string instrument, the ukulele is a great way to start. They use the concepts of all string instruments: fingering, plucking, strumming, and note/rhythm reading. You can play melodies and harmonies on a uke.

The fact that they are relatively inexpensive is a plus. Often, you can buy one under $50 (for a halfway decent one), go to garage sales, look on Craig's List/Offer Up/Facebook Market Place or ask anyone you know if they have one they don't use hanging around.

I will post videos that will take you step by step through information that will help you to play well and be successful. Stop and start the videos as often as you need.
